Dear Paras,

 

You will need to capture the user’s IP address, or UID and PSW in order to limit the number of times they can download a file.  When the download is requested, you will need to check a database to see how many times this user had accessed this file, and then allow or deny.

 

I’ve done this as well to limit users to 5 downloads on my site.

Dear Experts,   I am planning to make a file upload and download system, like rapidshare where download begins after some mins and it can't be resumed. Any suggestions how to go ahead about that?   Downloading delay can be achieved by session, but how to prevant resume downloading feature?   Please help!!   Paras
