Hey guys,
The show I am stage managing, Criminals In Love - part of a festival of
the East End Plays by George F. Walker, is having a special "Artists
Night" with discount $5 tix TOMORROW NIGHT. The play is actually a lot
of fun, and has a lot of good people in it (some of whom you may know!).
If you are interested just let me know and I'll put your name on the
list at the door.
-Eve
"Sightlines Theater Company deserves credit for providing a thorough
introduction, mounting six of [Walker's] plays (three readings and three
productions) this month...this dizzying brew of broad comedy, hysterical
tragedy and surprisingly gentle romance seems commercial enough to
appear on television, not to mention Broadway...It's got sex, violence,
mobsters, terrorists and prostitutes...this aggressively zany play has a
bit of everything." Jason Zinoman, New York Times

Walker's award-winning Criminals In Love explores the lives of Gail and
Junior, two young people in love whose modest fantasies of future
happiness are consumed by the pervasiveness of Junior's extended family
of felons. Hopeless, they turn to a local philosopher and "bum."
Together they make comic, yet poetic, attempts at a strategy to avoid
Junior's certain destiny and the great shadow of the abyss.
