But is that the case with this forum? And even if it is, what do we gain
by moving to a web-based forum? For example, with yahoogroups, I can not
only receive e-mails, but receive them in a daily digest format, which I
don't know to be possible with a web-based forum. I appreciate the
trouble that has been taken to create one. I just don't see the benefit.

I like the idea of a web forum, but I don't see any controls however, for altering posts, reading archives, creating a secure login name, or forwarding posts...
