A thousand pardons to those who may have read this message already,
either from Joe Travers of Swordplay Stage Combat or on one of the
boards I also post on.

Joe and I are looking to fill out the ranks of a single sword class
we started last week, essentially part 1 of an SAFD Skills
Proficiency Test class. In order to get more bodies in the room,
we'd be happy to host anyone who wants to take just the remainder of
part 1 as a brush-up, or anyone who wants to take just part 2 AND
who has the requisite training hours in single sword to qualify for
an SAFD skills proficiency test (If you are unfamiliar with SAFD
training rules and particulars, go to www.safd.org). Of course, your
eligibility to test under such circumstances will be at Joe's
discretion, as it will be up to him to decide whether or not you
have met the requirement of 30 training-hours or not.

Furthermore, Joe is very open to the possibility of tacking on a
little extra class time for anyone who wants to re-certify in any
lapsed SAFD weapon styles. If your certificate is over 3 years old,
or you feel you need a brush-up, or if you just miss the sound of
clashing steel and slap-knaps, then come join us!

Classes are Wednesdays and Fridays in Manhattan from 7:00 - 9:30,
with Knife and re-cert stuff scheduled seperately.

Test will be in late May/ early June.
