I was in one of the first directing tracks at Playwrights, from 1984-
87, when John Wulp was still running the school, and Bob Moss was my
first directing teacher... Andre Bishop was still AD of Playwrights
Horizons then, and Tim Sanford (now AD) taught us dramaturgy. At any
rate -- I'm in Chicago now, and am currently the producing artistic
director of American Theater Company (www.atcweb.org), although after
more than 5 years on the job, I am resigning at the end of August.
