The PicPac went out of production because of lack of parts I believe and it was
a dead end design wise.  The dead end part might have been the real reason though.
You might be better served by getting a tiny trak 4 and if you need a display, do the display
option on it.  To connect to a serial GPS one just needs a null modem adapter or make one and you have the position data go right into the waypoint table of the GPS for tracking.
