There is no way you can move from crystal reports to jasper without recreating everything. Maybe the only things that you can reuse there are the queries.
I like openreports vs jasper reports. You should look into this. It is jasper reports plus many more open source reporting solutions combined into one thus you will have an option depending on the type of report you want to generate.
We have a requirement to migrate Crystal Reports reports into Jasper Reports. Been Googling this already but seems there's no straightforward way to do this. I was hoping to find more answers from you guys. Thanks a lot in advance.
