I think there were several concerns raised as well such as :

- where to create the initial rss/data source in the first place (as
against just using a string builder). one option could be to have
(sets) or tags within a service like twitter so even info like -"my
favourite colors" could be entered into a pipe as a data source instea
d of tightly integrating the content with saving & pusblishing a pipe

- several hackers (me included 8 ) ) found it inconvenient to merge
two items within the same feed/xml

- not being to output youtube <embed> tags into the descption 8 )

- as far as a wishlist was concerned , perhaps lot more json specifc
modules, or filters. Ofcourse, there may be pipes already for this ,
but from the guys who came up with JSON in the first place, it wouldnt
seem like a xml to json,or json to xml, or stuff that toyed around
with json might seem a nice addon right in the toolbox 8 )
