Planbook is a Mac OS program that helps teachers manage their teaching planbook. At it's simplest, planbook replicates the functionality of a traditional pen and paper planbook. This software expands on this functionality by including the ability to:

*link files and web pages directly to a lesson. No more looking in file cabinets to find the assignment you used during a particular class. Double click and the file opens.

*Export your planbook (or parts of it) to HTML for public viewing. Allow your students to access your planbook and files so that they can manage their own absences or print out extra copies of assignments. You choose which assignments are exported (don't upload tests, for example) and which are. You can also designate certain parts of your planbook "private" so that they are not exported.

*Search- Forget when you taught Projectile Motion? Built in search locates the days you taught a particular lesson.
Remember, as with any software application, save early and often. System requirements are: Mac OS X version 10.4 or greater. Intel or PowerPC.
