Re: Is this group active?

reversed all of the first & last names of my contacts. I file in
Outlook as "last first", but when Plaxo brought them up to the
server, it took them as if they were "first last". Not that much of
a big deal until some of my contacts pop up as Plaxo members & then
get synced back into my Outlook in reverse order.

Hello Ed,
I know of the problem you were having.
If you go into Tools, Options, Contact Options, a window
should pop-up asking about name order.
The defaults from Microsoft are:
First (Middle) Last - for the Default "Full Name" Order
and
Last, First - for the Default "File As" order
Normally, people never change these features, but we
still need to handle the case when they are different.
Previous to the 1.4.1.19 version of Plaxo (which was released
in December), if Plaxo set the name for a contact, Outlook
would put the file as, first, last etc. in the order
determined by the above settings.
For example, if the "Full Name Order" is set to "Last First"
in Outlook's options, then it expects you to type
the names in as:
Smith John
... in order for the first name, file As, initials, etc. to
be set correctly.
