address books still each have around 120 contacts. "Synchronising" between
either of the two address books and my Plaxo on-line address book does not seem
to have any effect. The Plaxo on-line address book does not get updated with
the extra contacts, nor are either of my two personal address books reduced in
the number of contacts they hold. There seems to be something strange happening
here. Can anyone provide an explanation for this situation?

Jan,
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Plaxo is not Plaxo as we used to know
it. It is really Comcast and Pluse (Comcast data collector). Check out with
Google and this Yahoo group and you will begin to understand what I mean. My
Advice: Move on to some other way of keeping your contacts in sync. Plaxo is no
more. :(
