I've just released the source to the beginnings of a Firefox extension for Plazes.net that I'm calling FirePlazer.
This is my first stab at Firefox extension development, and I welcome contributions to the project from others; just drop me a line if you're interesting in participating in taking this forward.

Hm, this is written in Javascript, right? Maybe we (team klinkr) should team up with you, because we also wrote our client in Javascript. Perhaps we can share...
