As we're sure you've heard by now, Plazes has been acquired by Nokia.

This mail is a quick thank you to you, as a developer, for your
continuing interest in the Plazes API and Plazes as a platform. Your
interest contributed significantly to the momentum that made Plazes
into what it is now.

As you can imagine, a lot of things are still being sorted out, and we
don't have anything concrete to report yet about future development of
the Plazes API. However, it's safe to expect Plazes to grow to
exciting new scales, and, of course, to further improve its use cases
for mobile handsets.

We will continue to keep you updated on all further developments
through the Plazes blog and the API mailing list.
