You'll probably be sending an mp3. Do you have Audacity set up
to encode mp3s yet? I'd probably use rapidshare or a free box.net account to
transfer the file.
I'll give you the front to back step-by-step if you'd like. Hit
me up on Skype, my username is waltsnider. I'm creating a video tutorial
for podcasters and will use this to make sure I include everything for future
folks learning the art.

Subject: [podcastingtechnology] Re: New to group - Dani G. introduction
I have a Vista-laden laptop, and an okay
headset, have downloaded Audacity, have numerous podcasting tutorials to wade
through, and a wiki with someone's previous podcasting set-up for Story Circle
that I also need to wade through and try to understand. I haven't actually
tried any podcasting, but have picked some reading to use for my trial run. Oh,
and I use the voice recognition software on my computer. Does that count? ;)
Someone did ask me for an interview, and I would have to record my answers,
convert the file to ?, and then send the file to her computer, so that she can
edit it for her website. This is the first real pending project I have.
Thanks everyone. I look forward to becoming a star. Okay, maybe just
proficient. Okay, maybe just good enough not to embarass myself too badly.
Okay...
Dani
