[BARGE] hcmp compile problem :<   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #56 of 355 |
David,

I think I can help:

1. Your immediate problem stems from the Java layer not finding the ORO
regex package installed. The 1.2.0 release doesn't do a good job of
skipping the Java layer if you don't want it (the latest code does, but
there isn't a release of that yet). So I recommend doing the following
as recommended in the README:

=====
In order to compile the Java portions of the package, you will need the
following packages. You can simply download the jar file for each and
add them to your CLASSPATH:
Apache Oro regular expressions (org.apache.oro.*) [tested with
v2.0.6]
http://jakarta.apache.org/oro/
JUnit test framework (junit.framework.*) [tested with v3.7]
http://sourceforge.net/projects/junit/
=====

2. If you still have problems, let me know and I'll help you turn off
the Java layer entirely, like it can be in the latest builds.

Good luck,
-Michael M
