My name is Catalin Barboianu, mathematician, Probability&Mathematical Statistics specialist, author of "Probability Guide of Gambling" (www.probability.go.ro).

I am dealing with several gambling probability applications and consulting services in this field.

Regarding poker odds, my book is only focused on traditional poker. Because in last period I detected a lot of interest in Omaha Poker, I started a work on finding probability formulas for this game.

This means to find a formula of probability for at least one opponent to can finally make a certain card formation (certain full house, straight, flush or four of a kind), function of variables depending on cards on the table, own hand and/or unknown cards, for three different moments of the game (3, 4 and 5 cards dealt on the table).

Using these formulas, a player will know the odds for opponents to make a higher formation than the one expected to be done by him/her with cards from own hand. Therefore, the player can compare the odds and make probability-based decisions.

I provide these formulas in an algorithmic form (if, then, else, do), for them to be easy changed into code and implemented in a software. Such a software will return probability for each formation and for each card distribution.

Here is what you can do with such algorithms:

- completing a software for playing Omaha on line

- developing an odds dedicated software for Omaha

- making an odds generator or just tables that can be posted on a website

- using them in a consulting section on an Omaha dedicated website.

Thus far I have solved the full house problem and four of a kind problem. Now I am working on straight problem (the hardest). Because the work volume is high and my time is limited, I have decided to only continue it after I find someone interested in using these results who is willing to pay me for this work.

I provide not only the final formulas, but also the complete mathematical solution (for checking it).
