Description

Pollix is a Live CD with many programming tools (for Java, Python, Perl and Tcl/Tk).

Based on Knoppix, Pollix boots from the CD and detects hardware automatically - there is no need for installation. Moreover, Pollix updates its software from Debian unstable/testing, and support input of Chinese characters through XCIN.

Hi, You may download the (old) Pollix ISO files at http://ftp3.tnc.edu.tw/Pollix/ . There is no plan for newer ISO. Kendrew

It works OK for me. I have GForce MX 440 graphic card. Maybe Pollix doesn't support newest graphic cards.? I would like to see Pollix with Firefox installed as
