Introduction

Thank you for accepting my membership application.

A father of two sons, both of whom work in the public sector, allow me
to take a wholistic view to the environment. Since the age of 5 years
my interest has been how this beautiful planet is maintaining life for
us all. More latterly,it is just how we can continue to support all
life forms optimally. Having had a strong interest in trees
particularly since my late teens, my activities concentrated on
planting and studying the relationship with other plants and soil
environment. It was not until 1994 that university beckoned me to
learn about agroforestry. It was here that the whole world of plants
and animals opened up a new vista of understanding in the green world.
Research in this field is still on going and new discoveries are found
each year.

love and light

Martin
