I thought that they were rather synonymous in US (according to your
dictionaries) but I accept your tip that bitumen is not common use
for black top. We actually use all terms about equally. I've never
heard the bitumen sandwich. Perhaps that was for American
consumption from our outcasts, Crocodile Dundee,
and that idiot, Crocodile Hunter.

BTW, Shua, do you want to get rid of that AVG spam? Open AVG
control centre, press the big email scanner button, then click
properties down below, and then configure in the plugins tab,
and then uncheck both the "certify mail" boxes.
