On Monday, April 25th, Agile Denver welcomes Ron Jeffries, experienced XP
author, trainer, coach, and practitioner. Ron is author of Extreme Programming
Adventures in C#, the senior author of Extreme Programming Installed, and was
the on-site XP coach for the original Extreme Programming project. This is Ron's
first visit to Agile Denver, and will be an opportunity not to be missed by
those old and new to Agile.

Ron has been involved with Extreme Programming since 1996, presenting numerous
talks and publishing papers on the topic. He is the proprietor of
www.XProgramming.com, a well-known source of XP information. Ron is an
independent consultant with Object Mentor, and was one of the creators, and a
featured instructor in Object Mentor's popular XP Immersion course.

Ron has advanced degrees in mathematics and computer science, and has been a
systems developer for more years than most of you have been alive. His teams
have built operating systems, compilers, relational database systems, and a
large range of applications. Ron's software products have produced revenue of
over half a billion dollars, and he wonders why he didn't get any of it.

The meeting will be held at the Qwest Auditorium in Downtown Denver. Doors open
at 6:00pm for networking and refreshments, and the meeting is open to software
professionals and students. Visit http://www.agiledenver.org/2005AprMeeting.php
for any additional meeting details.

On a related note, Ron may still be looking for a Little Help with
XProgramming.com. Visit his blog for more information:

DIRECTIONS

The Qwest auditorium is in the Qwest building on the corner of 17th and
Curtis. The street address is 1005 17th Street. Take the exterior escalators
facing 17th from street level to Level 1. You can then access the elevators
via doors to the right of the escalator landing. Take an elevator to Level A
for the auditorium. If these doors are locked, go to the main building lobby
which is on Level 1 if you proceed from the escalator landing.

In addition to street parking, there is an outside parking lot on the East
side of the Qwest building that costs a flat $6 after 4pm. Several other
lots are within a few blocks and covered parking can be found in the Tabor
Center for around $4.
