Bud or Guiness for me.

Seriously, though, it really doesn't matter. Mix it up a little bit.

Hello all,

A couple of administrative notes:

1. We need two volunteers to bring soda, beer and snacks to the
meeting this monday

2. We need to decide on a topic. Please check the Polls section and
update your votes. (You can vote for more than one!) I will close
the poll soon, so please try to do this ASAP.

3. I will send out an "official" announcement later in the day with
address, contact info, etc.

See you Monday!

Those who wish to vote in the poll, please do so soon. Right now, the narrow
winner is "Smart Clients (are web interfaces dead?)".

See you then!

And, let me say, that if we end up w/ people who can't go if we move the

...and we don't have a topic yet.

While this seems supremely selfish, I wonder if we can move the meeting
night to another night. My wife is coming back into town on a flight
that
night at 7pm, and although I'm sure we could find her a ride with a
friend,
I'd prefer it was me if it were possible.

If it's going to be too much trouble, then bag it. It's not required.

Anywho, who's bringing the food this time? :-D

First of all, thanks to everyone who made it last night. We had a
great roundtable discussion of Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development.

Special thanks to Eben and Gordon for providing refreshments.

Barry has volunteered to bring stuff next month but I would like to
get one more volunteer to help him out. If you are interested, please
post back to the list.

Next month's meeting will be on Monday January 19, 2004 at the
Interlink Offices in Inverness. I will send out another reminder when
it gets closer.

We still haven't decided on a topic for the meeting, so if you have
any ideas or suggestions post them here. We added a number of ideas to
the wiki [1] last night, so be sure to take a look there first.

Yes, definitely! All the information is on our wiki:

It's stopped snowing here, but the wind is still pretty strong. As I live

minute decision as to whether or not I can make it, but I'll be doing my
best to get there.

Barry is out; was he bringing something food-wise? Can that be covered?

I'm planning on being there, but then I only have to go a couple of
miles.

Hello all,

I just wanted to check in with everyone and see if the weather has
killed anyone's plans to attend this evening.

It has stopped snowing down here in Inverness, and the roads look
clear so as far as I'm concerned, we're still on.

If anyone thinks we should cancel or reschedule, please reply back to
the list.

Thanks!

Howdy,

Are your meetings open to the public? I'd like to stop by tonight.

I probably won't be able to drive up from the Springs, but please go ahead
without me if I'm the only one that's not going to make it.

Can you get a couple volunteers to make sure we're stocked with enough beer,
pop, and snackables for the meeting?

Thanks...

December Meeting of the Denver Pragmatic Practitioners

Date: Monday December 15, 2003 5:30PM - 8:00PM

Location: Interlink Group Offices, 98 Inverness Drive East, Suite
150, Englewood CO 80112

Topic: Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development

After our spirited discussion in November about Source Control, we
decided that we would discuss Unit Testing and TDD at our next
meeting. Have you done TDD? What were your experiences like? Do you
use JUnit, NUnit or one of the other unit testing frameworks? If we
have time, we'll try to have a chat about FIT testing as well. Join
the Denver Pragmatic Practitioners for a round-table discussion with
your peers about what has worked and hasn't worked.

We look forward to seeing you there.
