Well I hope they are NOT watching the present series of 'Torchwood'.
Torchwood is a BBC spin-off from the highly successful decades-long sci-fi
series named 'Dr Who'. Its solely 'earth-based', filmed in the present-era and
is about a secretaive group of people who deal with 'alien-related' stuff. Their
base is Cardiff (Caerdydd), which is the Capital City of Wales (Cymru).
The present series is being broadcast at 9pm every evening this week (last
instalment tonight) and is called 'Children Of Earth'.
In brief, in 1965 a dozen Scottish orphan children (who would not be missed)
were given to unknown 'aliens' who were given the codename '456'. This was
supposed to be an exchange for a vaccine to an illness which was poised to kill
millions.
Now the 456 are back. Before arriving they made their presence known to
humankind by taking over every child on the planet and making them just 'stop'
(stand still) for a few minutes, and after doing this several times the children
would start giving messages such as 'we are coming', 'we are coming back', and
more. This is in English, irrespective of where the children are located. When
the 456 arrive the children also point towards London (or, if in London, towards
the centre of the city). Those overseas point towards Britain.
As they need an atmoshphere which is poisonous to humans a special air-tight
glass cage is built in a London government office and several of the 456
transport themselves down into it. This atmoshphere looks like thick fog to our
eyes, so we do not get to see them clearly, however what is seen will only serve
to create fear. These are not freindly looking Spielberg 'aliens'.
Without spoiling the plot too much I will add that the 456 have returned because
they want 10% of Earth's children... and even at one stage point out how many we
(as a species) allow to die from hunger, malnutrition, famine, etc.
What do they want to 'do' with the children? I'm not sure. We are told that they
are not hurt and will live considerably longer than they would have whilst on
Earth, however from what I saw in a sequence where a man wearing a special
buio-hazard suit with a camera enter's their London glass 'cage' it seems that
the children are somehow incorporated into their bodies. At least their faces
are.
All I know about tonights episode is that the army and parents are running
battles over the children who have been selected to be given to the 456. The
selection process is made by looking at school records and choosing the lowest
achievers, as those are said to be more likely to end up as life's loosers,
crimimals, unemployed, etc and hence a burden on the state. (Of course this is
utter drivel - but its the storyline)
------------------------
OK, its sci-fi, but I must wonder, all the present talk about Star Seeds, Indigo
/ Crystal children, 'space ships' seen in the skies, etc, so is the purpose
behind this storyline designed to put the seeds of absolute fear into the minds
of the general population - especially parents?
Despite the rhetoric about it being independant the BBC at times seem to be
following an agenda that looks 'pro' the established order, especially in
matters political, social engineering etc.
Are there people in the BBC who wish to 'poison the waters' related to future
'public domain' contact? (and in favour of the UK becoming a dumbed-down client
in an undemocratic EU / NWO superstate?)
