CHARTER

1. This Project Music Vault Y!group (PMV GROUP) is chartered with developing a web-based technology solution, called Project Music Vault (PMV), for preserving non-copyrighted music files.

2. PMV application, not this group, will be used by music enthusiasts to upload and download audio files for sharing, listening, and learning purposes. These services are intended to be available for free.

3. PMV GROUP is a forum to plan, discuss, and execute the development activities. PMV GROUP may use various releases to manage the scope effectively and incrementally.

4. PMV GROUP is NOT a forum to discuss the aspects of music. For e.g., to discuss Carnatic music, there are various groups such as Sruthi-Laya, muthuswamidikshitar, and websites, like Sangeetham.com, are available.

Membership of this group is, currently, limited to the contributors and potential contributors to the development activities.
