Well, as I searched the messages here before, that's about exactly
what I did already. ^_^
As it is though.. I'd be happy to try a compiled version, indeed.
But I've got a few questions...
Is that 'detach from console' thing normal? As it yields one no
information at all of viable sort to look at. o.o
Is, 'protomuck data/proto-in.db data/proto-out.db 9999' a good
example of a 'proper' command line? I'm mainly curious as to making
sure of how to point it at the databases, if there's any quirky syntax
involved..
And finally, would you recommend running the muck from inside
cygwin or from windows.. and if from cygwin, do you need to keep the
cygwin console shell window open?

Yes, Protomuck always detaches from the console so that it doesn't tie up the console. As for how to run it, if you run it from within Cygwin, you won't need...
