I would like to get an update on ProtoMUCK's development status. Is
anybody actively working on it? It's been about a year since the last
update, and there are some remaining bugs that should be addressed at
some point. Ones that come foremost to mind, from my standpoint,
include:
* Error logs filling up with megabytes of spurious entries, mostly of
the "Attempt to re-CLEAR() instruction from p_stack.c" variety.
* Inability to compile cleanly with some options turned off, or with
certain combinations of options.
Reported to me by fellow wizard Karinne:
* The seeded random primitives (setseed, getseed and srand) are
returning results that aren't very random at all.
* The modulo primitive currently does not do floating point modulo
math, despite what the manual claims.
There are also a fair number of entries in the bugtracker over on
Sourceforge, and little sign that anybody is working on them.
