My Name is Ken. My handle is Courier2001.
My Q-Link handles were Skydiver5 and the evil MarsHotel.
While on Q-link I hung out at Jack Rabbits Casino 99% of the time. I started to
use the chat while playing cards and poof I was hooked. 8) I had lots of fun
and made friends with a lot of wonderful people at Q-Links Jack Rabbits Casino.
Sadly, I was there when the lights were turned off.
Like many Q-linkers I strayed like a lost puppy on the net for years. Yep! I
lost some hair gained weight..lost weight. Yep :::sigh:::
Found Aol which is what Q-Link and the earlier experiment had become. Aol grew
up they added games and wow much more. Aol games linked to a site called
pogo.com. Pogo.com is an Electronic Arts game site. Back in 2001 I came in the
door at Pogo games 8). While Pogo games was different then Jack Rabbits it was
to me Jack Rabbits Casino in disguise. And it is.
I started to play the Jacks or Better game which is a personal fav of mine at
Pogo. I met and became good friends with hundreds of people all over the world.
Over time we formed a club online just a page of html and lots of photos of each
other. The club is call vpclubbored named after our original jacks or better
room. Aol hosted the site form 2001 to Oct 2008. There are also many other pogo
club sites now.
I am currently working on moving our ol' pogo club site from Aol to
vpclubored.com which will have a Q-link page or two with links here to QLink
Reunion
Any way my point is. We never ageing 8) Q-Linkers can still meet we just need a
place to meet.
