Sorry abt that I didnt know you were using the Package for Qlink thats
out there Its a little dated and I have that setup as well and it
didnt work for me I uploaded another zip with everything that does
work BUT no easy 1 click connect but not hard either I put a Readme
file in there Im no good at those but I tested the files and it
connected to Qlink

to find the ZIP of thepackage i used from scratch If ya need a  fresh
Qlink d64 let me know

That is the website where you can download the current version of Vice,
whatever it may be today.  Then you'll need to set up the ip address for the
correct server in order to get to Q.  But that question/info will probably
be in your next email.

Tried the website - I can't download Winvice 1.16 or 1.15, the web
pages are unavailable.

I tried the "easy install" package, it gets me into the Qlink
startup, but it gets hung up at the "connecting" screen and I have to
press F5 to exit.

Just today, I stopped at a place to eat some lunch with Life  Baley/Dave and
I told him: "I wonder how Beregond and Ginny are doing"...I  was remembering
old QLink people. I got home and read your Email just now  about Ginny's
passing. :(

How old was she Bere? I remember she was a young lady.

I am sooo sorry about that, Tom. My prayers and thoughts are with you  and

My wife of 19 years passed away on Veterans' Day of congestive heart
failure.  On Q-Link she was known as CubsFan, Irenaeus, and QGUIDEgr.

On AOL she was known as Cubbie, GinnyR, and GuideGR.  (Well, there
was also that horrid "HostGuide" name that inhouse foisted on us, but
I won't go there.)

I'm taking things one day at a time and doing all right, all things
considered.

A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.

I saw that comming when they went unlimited and never gave their Guides/rangers
any time to relax like Q-Link did.  Theyalways gave stupid schedules like "11am
to 5 pm on a Wednesday" UUmm I worked at that time and then they'd throw a fit!
   Oh well.. goes with the old saying.. "what goes around comes around". :)
