The "pop" sound, which is typical for a current-dumper, won't damage
the speakers. It is due to the endstage of the amplifier switching off
before the driver-stage does.

The way to get rid of it is building in the Dada Electronics
loudspeaker-protection / delay, see

As far as I can see from the respective manuals, you can use the AMPBUS cable supplied with a 909 to run it direct from a CD-P2. Does anyone know otherwise...
