Thanks for the URL.

I have taken many images of the cutting edges of woodworking tools, in
particular plane blades, using the QX3 standalone. Here is a link to one of
my web pages

It discusses using the QX3 for this purpose, has some images of different
cutting tools (plane blade, razor, knife). There is a link at the end to
the full set of pages on plane blade sharpening and testing.

I have been wondering if there is any way to improve those images using
more conventional microscopes. Adding the QX3 to a low power microscope is
a very interesting idea.

I too would be interested in anyone else's experiments with combined devices.
