This is a tool that I use to help out Weblogs.Com. Every minute it picks a
site from a list, reads it, and if it's changed, it pings weblogs.com on its
behalf. This way I can be sure that my favorite sites appear on the home
page of Weblogs.Com when they update. It's a relatively small burden for my
desktop machine.

Now that I've mentioned it specifically on Scripting News, some people have
requested a copy. Of course I wanted some people here to look at it first.
So if you want to help out Weblogs.Com here's your chance.

How to test.

1.
http://radio.weblogs.com/0001015/userland/publicTools/weblogsComHelper.root

2. Save it in your Tools folder.

3. Possibly quit and relaunch Radio to get it in the Tools menu.

4. Open the root and explore. There is a menu command. But this isn't the
kind of tool you can run without a little poking around.

I've exported a list of sites I'm helping, so you don't have to watch these.
