Capacitive approach   Message List

At first I thought of the capacitive approach as an alternative to inductive,
till I recalled that
charging a capacitor from empty from a constant voltage source implies that half
the energy
is lost... at this point one might as well use a resistive approach since that
has the advantage
of needing no charge time (as for the inductive or capacitive approach) and so
is not limited
in pulse rate.
