I have been shooting nudes under studio lighting conditions for two years with
the Canon Rebel EOS Digital with tremendous results. One aspect of using this
camera, which may be a lighting issue only, is that I have a south facing loft
at the far end of my studio and during daylight foto sessions I cannot fully
blind my windows dark enough so some natural light mixes with the incandescent
floods in the studio area. This means the "white balance" issue has to be solved
by using AWB rather than really setting it. Adobe PhotoShop CS will solve most
of the "pinky" problems during tweaking.
Has anyone experimented with the WB features of the camera settings?
You may see my work here BUT ** WARNING** this photography is of the classical
male nude and the site has a decidedly gay theme. BE FOREWARNED. This is not
appropriate for anyone under 18 to view.
