`Electric Pumpkin'
Edu-Science Drag Racing

will be held on October 31st, Monday, from 11:00am until 1:30pm at
Harbour Centre Mall. Prizes worth $750 will be given to winning
finalists. Contestants must bring their own low-friction pumpkin-
carrying material (such as a wax paper sheet) as a "sled", for an
electric skateboard, to drag. This contest is similar to a "tractor-
pull". Contestants will use remote control transmitters linked to
electric skateboards, to pull their pumpkin "sled" across a 20' foot
dragstrip, inside the mall.

Free. No entry fee, free pumpkin, with donation to a charitable
organization.
Use of the electric skateboards will be provided by Harbour Centre
Mall.
Free pumpkins, to be taken home, to all contestants.
Awards ceremony commences at 1:40pm, to be hosted by celebrity raw
chef Katherine Marion (www.supernaturalwoman.com)
It is anticipated that companies with nearby offices will challenge
their staff to enter this race.
