For a start forget evolution!

Install Thunderbird as it is the only email client to import from
Outlook [think i'm right on that]. You can then import from
Thunderbird to Evolution.

But then again as Thunderbird is rather better than Evoultion why not
stay with it!. It is the only email client that allows you to archive
emails with its ImportExport addon.
