I'm Krupa... I'm working on Fedora Linux for the past 6 months. It seems to be
fascinating in working on it. I have set-up a multimedia Fedora Box with my old
pentium 4 @ 1.8 Ghz system. All are running quit well. The only thing where its
lagging is the REMOTE Control. So I searched in market for a remote control for
my linux box. But these shop keepers don't know anything about PC Remote
control.
I decided to build a IR Remote for my system and it is a good success. Now the
problem is setting up the LIRC. I have tried various method to configure it. But
everything is in vain. The MODE2 shows the pulse space output while pressing the
remote buttons, but the applications such as xmms fails to recive its control.
Kindly help me in solving my problem.
