The Region 27, Nevada - Regional Planning Committee (RPC27) has been convened for the purpose of creating a spectrum utilization plan and to manage the new 700 MHz and 4.9 GHz public safety spectrum according to FCC rules and regulations.

Last Friday the Commission released its rules for the 700 MHz spectrum and the rules for the new public safety broadband interoperability spectrum for 700 MHz.
No real news. The FCC reports that our Region Plan is in the "Pending" status. That means it has, at least, been looked at but not seriously reviewed yet.
