I would like to apologise to everyone here for my long absence.
Hopefully I will be able to take the time to participate again. I
will be checking in more often now that I finally have a computer
again..lol
I have made a change to the new members policy...before it was open,
however I have just noticed some individuals posting files to the
group that are URL directing towards porn sites. This group is not
about that and I will not tolerate it. I have sent a message to the
offending individual, though I have a feeling that it is a "bot".
Because of this all new members will have to be accepted before
gaining full membership.
My apologies for any inconvenience this may cause anyone.
Thank you for your time.

I am a Photographic Arts Major, and will be
graduating in the fall. I am seriously starting to panic.
What I need to know is:<br><br>Exactly what kind of
jobs ARE there in the field of Photography?
<br><br>What makes a successful Portfolio, what kind of
variety, etc?<br><br>I have taken many photo courses,
basic B&W, Photo Lighting, Color Photo, and will be
taking Large Format Photography, Outdoor Photography,
Digital, and if times allows even Commercial Photography
and Wedding Photography. I don't have many contacts
in the area, and I am REALLY panicking. I know I
have what it takes, I just need to know how to get
there successfully. Thanks in advance for any
suggestions.<br><br>Kelly<br>Oklahoma/Texas Market

I am new to this group, and am an aspiring
photographer. I was working on my photography site today, and I
wondered if you all would take a look at my photos and
give me some insight about them please. I want to make
my photography the best it can be, and of course my
family members aren't going to give me honest opinions,
they have to love it!! LOL I appreciate anyone who
will take a
look!!<br><br><a href=http://www.geocities.com/amcknight79/photography.html

Hi there Jaloka! I am not a professional, but I
love photography and I do make some money at it, just
not for a living. I can tell you that classes really
helped me. Having an eye for it is one thing but classes
really are helpful and they make you sound good too.
Just think, we could always learn more at anything we
do. Well, hope this helps. Heidi :-)
I am wanting to be a photographer. Should I take
some classes at the community college? Should I try to
get on part time at a studio for some type of
"internship"? I know everyone is busy, but any advice would be
helpful. Thanks!!
Hello everyone, just saying hi! :-)I hope I found
the right place to share my photos and look at
others. I love photography and I would like to start
getting feedback of where I am with
it.<br><br>Thanks,<br> Heidi :-)
Welcome to the club Gallaf. Nice to have you here. I like the pics you
uploaded as well. Hope you enjoy your time in the club. And feel free to let
others know about it.<br>Scott
Hi every body :)<br>i just joined this great club. I am beginner photographer. I
added an album called Gallaf_Pics. I hope u like the pics<br>Nice to be with u
:)
Well it's been awhile but I'm back. I was out in
Banff visiting relatives for Xmas (I was still there
when they had that cougar attack, tragic!). Anyways,
to let everyone know, I am the interm director for
the gallery I mentioned awhile back. If anyone is
interested in a showing just let me know the date you'd like
and we can go from there.
I hope that everyone had enjoyable holidays. I
have been very busy with mine and have not had many
opportunities to be online. Perhaps it is time that we had
another club chat. Any suggestions for a topic? Maybe a
discussion on the use of multiple exposures????
I hope your club does well....I am deleting
myself from your club, just cause of things going on and
being busy, and I have my own club to worry about, and
I hope everyone does well with themselvves and hope
you get what u want in life....bye!
