Hi,

I am a research scholar working on reservoir operation for flood management. I
was trying to understand the reservoir operation problem using HEC-ResSim
(earlier HEC-5). When I analyzed the results of Hayes Basin (Example Problem in
HEC-ResSim), I was not able to comprehend certain thing.
“Why the rate of increase (or rate of decrease) of releases from the reservoir
control outlet were kept at a constant rate through out the simulation?”

I would appreciate if you could clarify the above point.

Thanking you,

Sincerely,
Om Prakaash
