SELECTION OF PROJECT STAFF THROUGH WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

1. Junior Research Fellow (2-Post)
Emolument: Rs.12,000/- p.m. (consolidated)
Duration: one year (extendable upto 31.3.2012 or till termination or
completion of the project whichever is earlier).
Qualification: M.Sc., in Appl. Phy./ Chem. /Earth Sc./ Env. Sc. /
Hydrology or B.E. (Civil Engineering)
2. Jr. Technician (2-Post)
Emolument: Rs.5,000/- p.m. (consolidated)
Duration: one year (extendable upto 31.3.2012 or till termination or
completion of the project whichever is earlier).
Qualification: Bachelor in Science
General conditions :
1. Maximum 35 years as on the date of interview. Higher age can be considered
in case of extra ordinary candidates.
2. These posts are purely temporary on co-terminus basis and do not entitle the
appointee to any claim implicit to explicit of any NIH post.
3. Candidate can directly attend the walk-in-interview on 12 July, 2009 at 10:00
hours at Chamber of Dr. Y.R. Satyaji Rao, Scientist E-1 & Head, Deltaic Regional
Centre, NIH, Siddarth Nagar, Kakinada 533003 (Andhra Pradesh) alongwith
complete bio-data, passport size photograph and original proof of qualification
and experience.
4. No TA and DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5. Bio-data Format : Advt, No., Post applied for, Name of candidate, Father's
name, Date of birth, Age, Nationality, Martial status, Category
(SC/ST/OBC/PH/Gen), Address for communication, Telephone No., Details of
qualifications (High School onwards giving exam passed, year of passing, Name of
Board /University, Subjects, Division with percentage of marks, Working
experience, Any other additional information), List of enclosures and Signature
of Candidate with date.
6. Working knowledge of computers is prerequisite. Preference will be given to
the candidates having working experience in Surveying, Remote Sensing and GIS
environment.
Note: The work place would be at Chennai or Kakinada (India)
