Description
Creative and economical computerizing of your telescope mount!
The primary focus of this group is the creative and inexpensive retrofit of Meade Autostar GOTO control to the popular Vixen GP-style mounts, which includes the Vixen SP, SP-DX, GP, GP-E and GP-DX, the Celestron CG-5, Synta EQ-4, EQ-5, Jinghua HD, Orion Skyview Pro and others. Big fork and GEM mounts are popular retrofit projects too.
In fact we welcome creative GOTO projects of any kind. We all want to learn!

Check the tooth count on the spur gears. IIRC they have differnt counts. If they do you will have to correct for it. Funny, when I was answering your question

HURRAY!!!! It Works. Thanks for the advise. Steps I did to get it to work. 1. setup autostar to DS2090 and found ratios of RA= .840568 Dec- 1.155000 2. Counted

For the ASCOM platform and use of the pulseguide commands, if you use V5.0a make sure you D/L version 5.03 of the Meade LX200/497 driver. The first version of
