Sad news from me. I won't be able to organise or attend the comp this year. My
family commitments are out of control at the moment. Things will change in about
Feb 2003 and give me more time to do robots and the SIG again.

I've been thinking that a MID year comp could be the way to go. We should hold
it
at Griffith on the Open day. There are crowds there that we can tap into and it
should work out ok.

I am in the process of organising the venue for the meetings next year with
Legumes and Griffith, I'll hold this off pending what we come up with (see
below).

The alternative to this is to put the club into hiatus and keep the yahoogroups
forum running to make sure we don't lose it completely, and we can reconvene the
group in Feb/Mar 2003. Or perhaps drop the club meets to bi-monthly throughout
the year. Maybe do both.

Things will pick up but at the moment priorities must be reordered.
