Hi all,
Mr. Toys Toyworld is selling the i-Cybie robot dog for $129 (previously available from Dick Smith for $399).
i-Cybie is very similar to the Sony Aibo but less sophisticated. It has articulated 3-joint legs, head and tail and contains 16 motors. Some of its features are:
- many behaviours/actions/animations
- can lie down/get up/recover itself if pushed over (orientation sensor)
- voice recognition
- responds to clapping commands
- IR remote control
- obstacle detection
- various other sensors
- sound output
- downloading capability available as an add-on
