Hi all,
 
There is an ad in the December Silicon Chip magazine for a Robowars event in Melbourne on December 18-19 with a $500 prize.  See www.robowars.org .  They are also selling their Integrated Bot Controller which has 50 Amp dual motor channels and other features.
 
Also Elektor electronics magazine is selling a Robotics CDROM which looks to be chock full of information.  See www.elektor-electronics.co.uk .
