RE: [robot_sig] AVR32 Linux

Thanks Nigel,
Yes I saw a lot of your work on those sites, good info!
So from what I can gather I have 2 options:
- Use GPIO for USART and SPI or
- Use Buildroot to add USART and SPI (kernel/loadable) modules?

Is one method easier to implement than the other?

Cheers

Josh

Josh,

This is a good place to start:
http://www.avrfreaks.net/wiki/index.php/Documentation:AVR32_General

...and this is a good place to finish:
http://avr32linux.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/WebHome

If you get stuck this is a good place to hang out:
http://www.avrfreaks.net/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewforum&f=12
<http://www.avrfreaks.net/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewforum&f=12>

Note that the the GPIO interface is about to get a big overhaul. I
think the old and new interfaces will co-exist happily.

Happy hacking,

Nigel
