There is still a group. Not much activity to be seen though.
I strangely still think about bot ideas from time to time, but am usually content to let them remain theoretical. There isn't much glory in a graveyard (unless there are zombies). Maybe when/if the old coders start showing it to their kids there can be a resurgance. That's right, the impetus is on You.

Based on my experience with RoboWar II, the limiting factor in execution speed
is graphics, not robot processing. Robots at 1000 or even 10,000
instructions per chronon would be no problem.
