- 2:00 pm
This event repeats on the third Saturday of every month.
Notes:
Launches are twice a month at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. It has an approximately 1.25 square mile wide open field with only a few trees. It's a great place to fly!
FAA noticed launches are held on the first and third Saturdays of the month beginning at 9 a.m.
The site is being evaluated for HPR use but is limited to < 125g (low H) power at this time.
The 3rd Saturday launch is occasionally held in Hearne, Texas which is "M" capable (10K AGL) at a field shared with NHRA.
