Everything is looking good for our June 24th launch. This will be our first launch at the Paul Meek Ranch, halfway between Kerrville and Fredericksburg. Once your turn off of highway 16 onto Alfred Petsch Road follow the signs to the rocket launch. This will be a FAA noticed launch for rockets up to 3.3 pound and 125 grams of propellant.

The area received a couple of inches of rain over the weekend so everything is green and less flammable. The County Commissioners met last week and decided not to impose a burn ban for Gillespie County so the Meek Ranch is available for the launch. They won't meet again until June 26th.

The 7 day weather forecast looks good. Some rain is expected in the middle of the week and Saturday will have temperatures in the mid 80's, winds below 10 mph and only a 10% chance of rain. Be sure to bring sun block and lots of water.
