The AARG club project, "HAWK" is flying (motor = N5000) during this
event - weather permitting. Tentative launch time for the Hawk is
11:00 am;

From the President:

Guys, this is going to be a big launch. People are coming from
Dallas, Houston and all points in between.

I have APCP motor reservations for many HPR motors.

Folks want to watch the Hawk fly on the most powerful motor we have
ever flown in central Texas.

We will need to follow the Tripoli Research rules very closely, and
make sure that spectators are not getting into motor or flight prep
area. All AARG members whether Tripoli members or not are to be
considered invited guests and can enter flight prep areas. Only
Tripoli members can enter the "pad areas".

The TRA Research launch is open to participation by Tripoli Rocketry
Association Members over 18 years of age. All participating members
can participate within their certified abilities - or lack thereof.

All launches will be made from a pad distance of no less than 300' -
so
bring your hiking boots!

Spectators are welcome, but there are limitations as to spectator
proximity to project assembly areas and the pads - ask now or later,
for details. Spectator movement is regulated.

The Prefect says:

The waiver opens at 9 and can run through 6 so if you have several
motors or flights we welcome you. Altitudes for the flying pleasure
are available through 16,000 feet. Any flights that require special
needs or are over 12K please let me know in advance at
prefect@ Our current field limits for motor size is N motors
by special arrangements in advance, through M motors are fine just
bringing to the field.
