Well, I would recommend removing autogenerated dependencies from a
"production" spec file, anyway. I would recommend filling in the proper
Requires (and BuildRequires!!) fields. Of course, there's always going
to be someone who will start whining about why "Requires: perl" is
there, and not "Requires: perl-5-bin-only-without-threads" (or some
such).
