As some of you are no doubt aware, China has blocked access to all
Blogspot weblogs. Users can post, but they can't see whether what
they've written has gone through. Likewise, others from China can't
read their weblogs.
Well, that gave me an idea. What if those users from China were set
up with full RSS feeds? Those feeds could then be added to RSS
aggregation websites, thereby creating numerous online archives of
these weblogs.
It occurs to me that RSS could become a very important tool to route
around Internet censorship -- a great, unexpected benefit.
Now, if only we had those feeds...
